HOW TO LEVERAGE YOUR TIME TO MAKE MONEY

How do people become insanely rich? It’s not by working hard. Instead, it’s by finding a way to make use the efforts of other people.

If you look at the average job site, you’ll see listings for all sorts of careers. Most pay between £20,000 and £50,000 per year. If there are high-skilled positions available, these usually go for around £100,000 per year. But even if you work for decades and save most of your money, selling your own time for money is always going to keep you in a state of relative poverty, at least compared to the super-rich

Therefore, if you really want to become successful, you need to adopt a fundamentally different strategy. Instead of selling your own time, you need to leverage the time of working people.

But how can you do this effectively? What’s the best way to use other people’s productivity to boost your income? Let’s take a look.

Start Hiring From Overseas

If you live in the West, you live in one of the most expensive labor economies in the world. The price of talent here is much higher than in other places.

Therefore, you’ll want to start hiring from overseas by getting a skilled worker sponsor licence. Workers coming from abroad are often willing to accept far less remuneration than those domestically, letting you get the same quality of people without cutting into your margins.

Build Your Team Yourself

You might be able to buy talent, but you can’t use the money to generate brand energy. Therefore, always build a team from scratch yourself. Get a group of people together and personally make sure they are passionate about what they do. Don’t accept anything less.

Once you get that flywheel going, there’s no stopping it. Employees in your firm feel aligned with your mission, and that begins to shine through the productivity statistics.

Be More Generous

Being more generous might sound like the opposite of the approach you should take. But if you can make employees feel like they are in a privileged position working for you, they are less likely to seek opportunities elsewhere. Consequently, you can actually boost productivity, cut down on slacking off, and reduce your staff turnover costs.

Being more generous doesn’t necessarily have to be financial, either. You could be more giving with your attitude and your willingness to give your employees the things they want.

Give Your Workers A Say

Executives often suffer from so-called “decision fatigue.” That is, making decisions over and over again, which eventually leads to burnout.

What many business leaders don’t realize is that making decisions is still work. You still have to exert mental energy to get the results that you want.

However, it’s also something you can quite easily outsource to other people. There’s no reason why you can’t distribute decision-making across your organization and get other people to do the heavy lifting for you. Then you can review the overall strategy from the top and seek decision-makers who align with your priorities.
