COMPARE SUPERMARKET PRICES – SAVE MONEY WITH THIS TOOL
When shopping for food, it never ceases to amaze me the differences in prices from one supermarket to the next. With prices changing all the time, it’s really difficult to keep up and make sure we are getting the most for our money.
I know that many of my readers used to use the MySupermarket app, it was one of my favourite apps too. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available, so how can we now compare supermarket prices?
Well, I’m super excited because a new supermarket price comparison tool has been launched to solve the problem.
Today, I will share with you everything you need to know about the new tool so you can start saving money straight away!
The New Supermarket Price Comparison Tool
The new tool has been launched by the creators of Latest Deals and is perfect for anyone wanting to get the best prices for their shopping. Latest Deals is a money saving community and the tool was produced in response to overwhelming messages for help through their Facebook group from people who are struggling financially. With job losses and supermarket prices on the rise, they had to respond quickly. The team worked day and night to produce the tool to compare supermarket prices to help people out.
The tool is available on IOS and Android and is a new feature through the Latest Deals app and the best news – it’s absolutely free for everyone to use!
You can compare prices from Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Iceland. These were chosen because these are the supermarkets that offer online shopping and home delivery.
How Does it Compare Supermarket Prices?
I decided to try it out to see exactly how it works.
I found that it is really easy to use which was a relief because, as a busy mum, when I want to quickly check prices, I need something that’s simple and fast.
Once you’ve downloaded the Latest Deals app, you need to click on the menu bar and you will see the ‘Supermarket Comparison’ option. Click on that then all you need to do is type in the item you are looking for. You will then be given a list of prices for that product from each supermarket.
At a glance, you will be able to see which supermarket has the best price for any particular product.
With some products, there is very little difference but with others, there’s a huge gap between the prices. That is where the real savings are made.
I tried Kellogg’s Corn Flakes and as you will see, the prices range from £2.00-£3.25, quite a difference!
Overall, I was really impressed with the simplicity of this tool. I think it will be invaluable to many people.
