THE 10 BEST MONEY SAVING APPS AND SITES
There are so many ways to save money but one of the best ways I find is using money saving apps. It’s a really simple way to not pay full price for things which can provide a real satisfaction and keep more money in your pocket.
Also, you can stack up your cashback from some of these sites meaning you have a nice little savings pot always on the go!
Today I will share with you my 10 best money saving apps and sites
1. Shopmium
The concept of Shopmium is simple. You look for offers at nearby stores, check the dates they are available then buy the item listed. Once you have bought your item, you upload a photo of your receipt and scan the barcode. The cash will then be refunded to you within days.
The great thing about this app is there is absolutely no minimum refund so if you bought a can of soup today for £1 with a cashback refund of 50%, you’ll get the 50p refunded back to you very quickly.
Shopmium has regular offers for new members, therefore if you use a referral code, you’ll get the app plus full cashback on your first item so a FREE sign up gift!

2. Topcashback
Topcashback is one of the larger sites that has been around for a while and if you are not using it, then you are probably losing out on a lot of money!
It’s so simple to use and even if you don’t shop on-line very often, the cashback can still stack up fairly quickly. Once you have signed up, you log into Topcashback each time you are ready to make a purchase and when you buy something from any one of the 4,000 retailers featured, you will receive cashback into your account. It’s all automatic so you just shop as normal! You can read my full guide on how Topcashback works here.

3. My Money Pocket (MMP)
My Money Pocket is a UK site which i’ve only recently heard about.
Having checked it out, it works similar to Topcashback. You first need to register online which is really fast as all you need is your email address and password. Again there are lots of the big retailers on there, and there is a categories menu at the top which makes it easy to navigate around.
‘Free Cashback’ lists all the offers where you get cashback for nothing, ie you don’t need to make a purchase. It maybe simply requesting a quotation for home insurance or something like that. Free cash without spending? Yes please!

4. Camel Camel Camel
Camel Camel Camel is an exciting and totally FREE Amazon price tracker! It monitors millions of products and sends you an alert when the price drops.
If you shop on Amazon then you know that prices change all the time so this tool is invaluable!

5. Shoppix
Shoppix is a market research company. They work with consumer brands through collecting data (no personal information is sold, it’s all anonymous and never sold on so no need to worry).
The Shoppix app allows you to earn money by photographing your receipts. The receipt needs to be clear and understandable but they are happy to receive pics from big chains or smaller stores as long as the purchase was made within the last 7 days.
This is really a no brainer way to make some extra cash. It takes less than a minute to send a photo of the receipt and answer a few questions.
6. My Supermarket
As the name says it’s great for your supermarket shop. Whether you shop on-line or instore you can use this app to compare prices and make sure you’re always paying the lowest possible price for an item.

7. Quidco
Quidco is another one of my favourite sites and very similar to Topcashback. Again with over 4,000 retailers it’s hard not to earn cashback on your purchases.
Simply log into your Quidco account to do any shopping online and if your retailer is listed on their site, you’ll automatically earn cashback on what you spend. Crazy not to earn money on what you would be spending anyway, don’t you think?
It’s quick and easy to sign up too!

8.CheckOutSmart
CheckoutSmart can be used on-line or via an app and works very similar to Shoppix. It will save you money on your supermarket shop whether you shop at Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s or Morrisons. In addition, you can earn up to 100% cashback on items from lots of other retailers across the UK. This means that you can get some items completely free!
Each week they feature different products which you can claim cashback from and many are from well known brands.
Again you simply search offers, keep your receipt and send a pic!

9. Oh My Dosh
OK OhMyDosh is more of a money making site (to learn more about how you can make money with it click here) but I also love it for getting cashback and saving money with free trials too. There are always lots of different offers available and not only do you save money but you make money at the same time because Ohmydosh will pay you for trying out something for free!
10. PriceSpy
I love the Pricespy site, it’s great if you just want to quickly check the best price on something! It works particularly well when looking for kids toys such as lego but you can search anything from computers to household appliances. This site will show you the cheapest availability at that time. Top retailers change their pricing all the time so this is a handy tool to make sure you get the best price.
No need to sign up, just check out the site as and when you need to!
So there are my top 10 money saving apps and sites. Obviously to make/save the most money it makes sense to sign up with all of them and use them regularly to your own advantage.
