THE ASDA CHRISTMAS SAVINGS CARD – A SIMPLE WAY TO START SAVING
“Saving for Christmas? What”? I hear you ask!
As I write this blog post, it’s the middle of summer and 24 degrees outside. I’m sure saving for Christmas is the last thing on your mind. But should it be?
The majority of Brits are hopeless when it comes to saving for Christmas. Leaving it until the last minute is what most of us do, making the stress of the big day overtake the fun and festivities that lead up to it.
With gifts, extra food, new clothing and homewares on the list of things we spend on in the weeks before Christmas, it’s not surprising that many people go into debt to get through.
So, what if there was a really simple way that you could start saving for Christmas now?
You could do what you probably always do and plan to put a little bit of money away the few weeks before Christmas. You could leave it until the last minute and risk getting into debt. Or, you could grab yourself an Asda Christmas Savings Card.
The Asda Christmas Savings Card – What is it?
I picked one of these up in store last month to get organised this year!
The Asda Christmas Savings Card provides a simple way to start saving for Christmas, helping you to spread the cost. You can save up to £144 on your card with the option of earning yourself an extra £6 bonus!
Just pick up a card from any Asda store, register it on-line and start saving.
You can save simply by just rounding up your shopping bill each time you visit the store, or just add an amount to your card whenever suits you.
Saving a regular amount will help you to build up the funds, enabling you to qualify for bonuses and have more to spend in the run up to Christmas.
The Bonuses
As well as saving for Christmas yourself, Asda will provide you with the opportunity to earn extra bonuses on your card. This is really simple and the qualifying amounts are:
- Save £49 and get £1 bonus
- Save £97 and get £3 bonus
- Save £144 and get £6 bonus
What if I Want to Save More
If you want to save more, you can just pick up more cards in store. There is no limit to the amount you can save.
Is it too Late?
No, it’s never too late to start saving for Christmas. Anything is better than nothing at all when it comes to having an extra pot in the run up to the big day. The sooner you start the better but any time is a good time.
The thing I love about saving for Christmas with this, is it will be like giving myself a gift card just before Christmas!
To learn more about the card and the terms and conditions of qualifying bonuses, you can visit the Asda Savings Card page here.
